Surprise is home to a HUGE tennis and racquet complex, many golf courses, aquatic centers, and a fishing lake.

Surprise comes to life when the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers start-up during  Cactus League Spring Training!  If you are a baseball fan, you probably already know, Suprise was voted 2018’s Number 1 Spring Training Stadium in Arizona by USA Today!  The  Stadium offers an amazing experience for baseball fans, so if you are planning a trip out here and baseball is your thing, you will have an amazing time!

If you are an outdoor kind of person.  You will LOVE IT HERE.  Between the Sonoran Desert, the White Tank Mountains, and the Lake, there is so much to do.  You can enjoy fishing, hiking, and camping.  Not to mention just simply being outdoors and enjoying the fabulous weather!

Plus, the proximity to scenic cities like Sedona, Prescott, and Flagstaff, the always-open city of Las Vegas, Nevada, and the beaches and mega-metropolises in California mean that day-trips and weekend getaways are a road trip reality!

Surprise is part of the Dysart Unified School District.   There are close to 24,000 pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade students in the Northwest Phoenix Metropolitan area. The district encompasses 140 square miles and serves parts of El Mirage, Glendale, Surprise, Youngtown, and Maricopa County.
